*Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!*

They called for the snow and I didn't believe it would happen. How many times have I heard the weatherman call for accumulation only to wake up to rain?? That's how it started off this past Saturday when we woke up nice and early (7ish?) to a cold, cloudy and rainy day. Around 9/9:30 I heard Hannah say, "Mommy! It's snooooowing!!!" and what do you know...there it was!! The "before" pics are from that moment, the second set are from a little before lunchtime.

Hannah had such a blast running around in the snow. It took about 30 minutes to convince her of how much fun it would be but once we were outside she didn't want to come in!!

Throwing snowballs at Mommy!

*It's the most wonderful time of the year...*

Ah, December. For some crazy reason, I have heard people actually say they detest this month. I cannot get enough of it! The decorations come out the Friday after Thanksgiving and don't go away until well after New Years. Since we moved into our apartment we were able to pull out all of our own decorations which was great. Last year Betsy (Jon's mom) made room so I could pull out some of my own personal things and even made room on her Christmas tree so I could have a little taste of "home". (Thanks again Boots). So it was really fun to make a huge mess and set everything up!

Catch up!

Thanksgiving was a little tough this year...Hannah went to Tennessee to visit her grandparents with her dad so we enjoyed a very filling (and delicious!) but quiet meal with my dad and Nancy (as well as Scott and Chelsea). After a power nap we went over to enjoy dessert with Jon's family and close friends.

Of course the next day I had Jon dragging out all of the Christmas decorations because it's one of my favorite times of the year!! Hannah came home that Friday night and helped us put the final touches on our Christmas tree. She really enjoyed it this year because she "directed" Jon and I as to where all of the ornaments should go!!!

The rest of the four day weekend flew by since we met up with my grandmother (Nana) to do our annual Christmas shopping. We enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the Cheesecake Factory and then "shopped till we dropped". LITERALLY! I am very excited because Hannah will be wearing some VERY adorable clothes from Gymboree very soon! :) (THANK YOU AGAIN NANA!!!)

We rounded out the weekend celebrating some very special birthdays...Jon's cousins Cassie and Austin. Hannah was able to play with one of her favorite playmates Peyton as well so although the weekend was packed it was worth every moment. We are so blessed and lucky to have so many family members involved with Hannah's life. :)

Hannah's Halloween Party (school)

Hannah's teacher Ms. Lori was so sweet and just emailed me photos she had taken of Hannah at their Halloween party. All of the children at our school dressed up and went trick or treating to the different classrooms. Later on they had a party, of course I made the dessert so Hannah could indulge with her class. In the picture with the cake she is sitting with the "allergy" kids. :( I made the cake peanut free as well so the other allergy kids could enjoy! We had such a great time! Hannah also had a big poofy skirt with her costume, I didn't let her wear it to school because I knew she wouldn't take it off (for outside time, nap time, potty time etc.) Now of course, I regret that decision but she still was cute as a button that day! Thanks again Natania for the skirt and shoe pom poms!!!! And thank you Ms. Lori for the pictures!

Visit with our favorites!

At the beginning of November we made it out to visit our good friends the Claybornes. It was FREEZING that night!! It felt more like December weather! As you've read before, Natania and I were pregnant around the same time so of course we are "pushing" our children to be boyfriend/girlfriend. hahaha No pressure of course. :) Owen and Hannah love playing together and it gives the mommy's some much needed wine and chit chat time. We love you guys and look forward to many more years of visits and pictures!!!

November!? Already!?

So, the Perrymans survived the stomach bug mostly unscathed. Mommy was out of work the next day but Jonny managed to dodge the bullet, phew! I have been even more anal (if that's possible) at washing hands, not "touching" certin things, i.e railings, elevator buttons etc and have even sunk so low that we are using hand sanatizer (which I HATE!) Luckily Hannah just goes along with my OCD obession and laughs when I pull her away from the toys at the doctor's office (sooooo gross!!!) She is still totally obsessed with Princess anything and I was able to capture some photos in her dress up...

Our New Apartment!

Yay! So this is older news but I know a lot of people still need our new address so I figured I might as well post!

New address:

13849 Braddock Springs Road
Apartment A
Centreville VA 20121
At the end of August we were able to rent and move into this lovely two bedroom, two bathroom apartment! I know we will probably outgrow it in a year or two but we love being able to use all of our wedding gifts and to have a place to call our "own"!
A few pictures!
